I’m a sucker for all things travel. Which doesn’t work for me well because I’m yet to unlock that part of adulthood that allows me such luxuries, and I haven’t been out of Kenya yet so all I can do is save destinations for future travel.
When it comes to travel, Airbnb is a life-changer. That’s where all my wish lists come from. Truthfully, I prefer staying in cute houses, chalets and cottages than staying in hotels or traditional bed and breakfasts. I love the privacy and the fact that you can get to make meals for yourself.
And man, Kenya is full of such beauts, even in the centre of Nairobi city surprisingly.
Here are a few affordable stays that you can drool your eyes over, and maybe even make a reservation whether you’re looking to take a solo trip, a baecation or a turn-up with the squad. With the travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this may be just what you need for a break.

For KES 5500 and accommodating four, Raven's Nest would be ideal for a double date thing over the weekend!
For KES 11000, you won't regret staying over at Brandy Bus. I had such a lovely experience on a solo trip there a while back.
